- Inspected vehicle and Found pcv valve working propwerly. tested crank pressure and found off idle system pressure would exceed 15psi and even reach 20psi at times. Checked egr system and removed supply tube to intake. Found no excessive carbon. Removed oil cap and found when running at idle cap will jump in place. Followed TSB for oil consumption. suspect rings are gummed up. Performed hybrid oil change with BG products and advised customer to drive vehicle and report back. if this does not help with consumption then engine replacement will be needed to fix.
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.
