- Scanned for codes and found numerous codes. Focused on bank 2 35% correction Found cylinder #4 backfiring into exhaust. Suspect exhaust valve problem. vehicle has can codes and crank codes not related to backfire. Next step is to perform compression test and leak down to confirm Cylinder 4 valve problem. WHile inspecting vehicle found coolant hose back of engine not installed properly and started leaking all over floor. Main engine fuse also blew while inspecting. Vehicle will not start or run without fuse. Vehicle has altered wiring under dash and in engine compartment. Advise customer to check wiring for a short and replace fuse also correct coolant hoses then we can perform further test. Suspect wires are in wrong place. Customer will recheck install for proper installation.
