Checked fuse A42 for water pump and found fuse good. Check for power at pump and confirmed 12V present. Monitored pump with scan tool and found Rpm desired is not being achieved actual is 0 RPM. Correction is to replace electric water pump. Checked thermostat and found Red wire has battery + present. Removed connector for thermostat and performed resistance check at heater. Found 1M ohm. Spec is 15.3 +- 2 OHM confirmed out of spec. Replace thermostat.
Scanned vehicle for codes and found: P0597 Thermostat heater control circuit open. P0507 Idle control system RPM high. P0171 System too lean P2600-87 Coolant pump control circuit. Inspected for codes P0507 and P0171 Inspected vehicle for high pitch noise when running at idle. Heard noise, Removed oil fill cap and noise went away. Placed cap back on vehicle and noise returned. Placed finger over pcv diaphragm and felt vacuum confirmed diaphragm was torn and oil separator needs to be replaced then re test system.
Remove wheels and inspect brake pads and rotors for condition and thickness. Front: Pad 5_MM, Rotor min specification in spec. Rear: Pad _7_MM, Rotors have grooves and are glazed. Fronts are close but not needed yet.

WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace – 2.0L Eng Electric Pump – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold.] – [Includes: R&I Radiator (where applicable).]
THERMOSTAT – Remove & Replace – 2.0L Eng – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold. Includes: Bleed Cooling System.]
