Inspection also revealed vehicle to have the original spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor in place. Correction is to replace secondary ignition components and retest.

    • Scanned for codes and found numerous codes. Focused on bank 2 35% correction Found cylinder #4 backfiring into exhaust. Suspect exhaust valve problem. vehicle has can codes and crank codes not related to backfire. Next step is to perform compression test and leak down to confirm Cylinder 4 valve problem. WHile inspecting vehicle found coolant hose back of engine not installed properly and started leaking all over floor. Main engine fuse also blew while inspecting. Vehicle will not start or run without fuse. Vehicle has altered wiring under dash and in engine compartment. Advise customer to check wiring for a short and replace fuse also correct coolant hoses then we can perform further test. Suspect wires are in wrong place. Customer will recheck install for proper installation.

    • Replaced front brake pads and rotors, Lubricated hard wear and flushed brake fluid. Road tested vehicle and confirmed proper operation. When replacing brake components brake pedal may feel different and stopping distance may be longer then it was. Allow extra distance while stopping for proper brake in process.

    • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Check entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
